I grew up and live in a small rural town in Maine. I started “biking” like most kids, whenever I got my fist bike. I’ve always loved the concept of human powered speed, especially on two wheels. I entered some citizen races and worked in a pro bike shop for a while, but I never really had what it takes to run with the big guns. Mild Asthma plagues me even today. I have managed to spend most of my working life in the field of outdoor recreation of one kind or another. After almost 30 years in that field I made a dramatic career change into the world of computers and Information Technology. I’ve worked as a Network Administrator and Network Engineer. I’m currently in the Information Security field. I hold several IT certifications. I am an ASE certified Automobile Service Consultant and I am a Registered Maine Guide.
