Team Radioshack bike sponsor has just released the first pictures of their Team Radioshack bike.
Here is what they said on their Facebook page:
“Feast your eyes on the Radioshack Madone. Seen for the first time ever on Facebook. Stay tuned to the page for more updates as the season continues. This scheme is available for purchase March 2010!”

Good Points (being generous here)
- The Shack logo on the seat tube looks nice
- Livestrong flash on the seat stay
- R in a circle in the headtube area
Bad Points
- Grey. Yuck. Looks like a plumber’s made it out of plastic waste pipe.
- Wheels don’t match. Can see what you’re trying to do, but no.
- White tyres make the grey and black wheels look even worse.
- Nissan logo. It’s not a car.

Bike looks AWESOME! It’s about time someone made a bike with some style. Now all Team Radioshack needs to do is design the new team kit to match instead of the bland jersey they have at this point.

bike looks sick! and the advertisements look just fine. if ur gonna afford the best bike then u gotta get sponsors and they arent gonna sponsor u if ur not showing them off. i personally think the paint job is perfect. kinda stealthy and unnoticeable till lance or one of the other champs attack. then everyone wont know what hit them!

Unfortunately, Radioshack don’t have a nice logo, so no matter what, the graphics don’t look as cool and too much heavy advertising. I don’t like it.

I agree with others who see it as a traveling bulletin board. Grey? Come on. Look to pinarello or Specialized for some ideas on a pleasing design. Far too wordy and busy!! Especially wheels. Please give it another try. Have a National contest for design and publicity! The season is yet to begin. Ride last year’s bikes painted RED in Australia.

The machine itself is cool, but the paint job is fugly! Will you guys be wearing tan pants when you ride! Make it all black with the “R”’s in red with gray shadows. going from small to large from front to back looking like its breaking up. Get rid of “the shack”…makes me think of the taco shack
