I think that everyone is waiting for tomorrow (Stage to attack. You hear Levi say today would have been a lot of wasted energy for not a lot of gain. I think TRS new nothing would happen today and had their guys take it easy. History tells up that Popo, Horner, Levi, Kloden, and Lance are all possible top ten finishers. Wait for tomorrow for them to prove that to you.

Watching Astana on Stage 6 yesterday and stage 7 today, I wondered if their comparatively greater cohesion around Contador, especially near the front, was a sign of greater strength or a sign of some insecurity. TRS, in contrast, seemed more spread out. We may find out tomorrow. Hope the team gets a good night’s rest today.

Makes you wonder what Yaroslav Popovych ((Ukr)down 0:03:26 after Stage 6) is really capable of. Hopefully we’ll be seeing more of his perserverence in the bicycle war/race in France this month. Then when other boys are done playing with their bikes for cash, maybe it’ll be Popo’s year to get a full draft.
