Sébastien Rosseler

Sébastien Rosseler (born July 15, 1981 in Verviers) is a Belgium professional road racing cyclist who most recently rode for UCI Pro Team Quick Step. He turned professional in 2004 with the Relax Bodysol Team.  The following year he switched to Quick Step where he has ridden for the last 5 years until the recent announcement of his signing with Team RadioShack for the 2010 season.

His specialty is the Time Trial where he has recorded several victories and is a consistent support rider in Grand Tours, having completed four to date.  He helps form a solid Belgium contingent at TRS with fellow riders Gert Steegmans, Tomas Vaitkus and Ben Hermans and Overall Team Manager Johan Bruyneel and Directeur Sportif Dirk Demol.

His major results include:  3rd U23 National Time Trial Championships in 2001, 2nd  U23 National TT and 7th U23 World Time Trial Championships in 2002, firsts in the Prologue, Stage 6 and 7 (ITT) at the Olympia’s Tour in 2003, 9th overall Gent-Wevelgem 2004, Young Riders Competition and 7th overall 4 Days of Dunkirk, 2nd overall Tour of Belgium, 3rd overall and Halle-Ingoolgem and 4th overall 3 Days of De Panne in 2006, 1st Stage 7 Eneco Tour (ITT), and 4th overall Tour of Belgium in 2007, 2nd overall Eneco Tour and 2nd overall and 1st Stage 4 Circuit Franco-Belge in 2008, 1st Stage 4 Four Days of Dunkirk, 1st Stage 5 Tour of Belgium and 2nd overall National Time Trial Championships  in 2009.
