Régis Croenne, 54, lives in the North of France and has been a freelance English-French translator offering business services since 1999 after a career as a teacher in several high schools in France. He has been interested in cycling since he was young and, although he never entered cycling competition, has always enjoyed and respected the sport. He first caught a glimpse of a Tour de France peloton in July 1964, somewhere in the Pyrenees. Right now he rides about 6,500 miles a year and enjoys every minute of it.
