it is hard to judge what is going on with him right now – just getting his legs under him, using these races as a light workout (like a race horse). Only time will tell.

Antero, please learn to speak english before you start posting smack about Lance. He’ll be fine, he’s been around and knows when to turn it on, as he showed us last year. On another note, Levi rocks.

Lance will not do best at short races, he usually excel at long races like TDF coz he do best where mind games count a lot. I heard he has a extra-ordinary large size lungs so we’ll see in the TDF where brute raw power is just second to mind & stamina…

For me it does not matter if Lance will be on the top again as far as pure cycling goes. For me he has been on the top of the game overal as a sportsman, role model and as a descent human being. As far as the past for me his biggest achievment is the 3rd place last year. I do not think someone has done it before as far as pro cycling goes. As far as the future the hills of La Tour will show when comes mano to mano. It is the Team ( Radio Shack) that is important.

Lance did the same thing last year, I think he saves his energy for the tour just like he always did. He finished like this in many races last year, then took 3rd in the Tour. I would not count him out yet.
