In an effort to make the site as versatile as possible we have hooked up with a French writer, who will provide articles in French for our site. These articles are NEW articles, and not translations of present articles. I believe this will provide added value for all. We will attract more French speaking readers, and we will get a “French angle” on the team and cycling.
This is also why we are now offering immediate onsite (Google) translations of all articles and comments in the following languages:
English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Russian.
We are aware that these Google powered translations are far from perfect, but we do believe that it will help a lot foreigners when visting the site.
However, most articles would still be in English!
Please let us know if you like the fact that the site offers articles written in other languages, and that we are offering immediate article and comment translations.

I like the multi-language, and international accessibility of the site. The translation tool itself needs work.

Thank you for your comment. The translation tool is from Google and unfortunate we have to wait for Google to improve it.

Dear Jens
Great idea! Just 2 days ago, I was wondering if you will try to provide us also with articles in foreign languages. What a conincidence!
I am of italian origin, but I was born in Switzerland and since then I live in the german part of Switzerland. So I can communicate in different languages as German, Italian, French and English (I hope my english is good enough, so that you understand me well).
I am sure you could also have a German or Italian writer or is it too difficult to find someone? Which criteria have to be met to become a writer?
As you can see on my profile my husband and myself are “beside” Lance as fans since 1993, since he won the world championship in Oslo. We had the opportunity to meet Lance days before he became ill in 1996 in Liestal/Switzerland (nearly nobody knew him and we had to explain who he is to the others. It was a very impressing encounter and discussion.) and then once again in Gippingen 2000. http://autobus.cyclingnews.com/results/2000/apr00/gipp00.shtml
Thank you very much for your great work. I appreciate that wery much.
Best regards
Ermelinda

Enfin! Tous ne sont pas bilingue. Même si la traduction laisse à désirer il faut reconnaître l’effort de Team RadioShack qui est hautement appécié! Merci.

I think the translation tool is very cool… I live in New Zealand and am learning French for when we come over to watch the Tour de France in July. So that was cool being able to look at it in French and English.
Cheers

Idea is really good, and the main languages is there, ok, without Scandinavian or chinese, but still thats useless for me, there is not included small languages, but that would be silly if theere wuld be, then there would be ~ 4or more rows of flags
So i voited to English only

No doubt that a site like this needs that all information available be shown in all the languages.
If help needed in translation to Portuguese I´m here to help.
