I don’t like it – it’s dull and the straight edge along the chest is uninspiring. I like the one done by RaichuLAT shown in the Forum section (back in January) much better. I would buy that one, but not this one modeled by LA.

Yea, I agree with the comment a few bellow mine. Very unimaginative, doesnt pop or make a statement. People love to watch the peleton ride by partially because of the bright blur of colors that shoots past their eyes. This jersey is very muted and boring, I dont want to sound mean, but it reminds me of a shirt you would find at TJ Max or something… Maybe you could just go with an all red kit, if thats one of Radio Shack’s primary colors. And also, people are right, it does look like two kits sewn together, or I would suggest, more like a red woman’s strapless dress pulled over a grey jersey, look at it, you really can see it.

I personally love the new uniforms. I think that everyone one else on here just needs to relax. The jerseys are different than every other team’s, so that makes them a lot more cool. would you rather have a unoriginal regular – ole copy jersey? Props to whoever designed this kit. It gets an A in my book,just ignore all the haters.

Get rid of the red altogether. The top part of the jersey [the gray - silver] ought to be the predominant color!! Blacken the sides. However, “a deep forest green” [if there needs to be a catchy color at all] should be the sponsor – lay of the jersey. That silver, with black and a very deep green would give Radioshack the smartest looking kit in the peleton. And the yellow – arm – band [along with the sponsor 'R'] would stand out like lights.

This jersey reminds me of the us postal team kit. The us postal jersey was fabulous for its time but come on guys. With millions to spend this is what they come up with?. I would prefer something a little more representative of the age we live in. I understand it is about brand identification and sponsership but this jesey is much too forgettable. I usually purchase one pro tour jersey each year but it doesn’t look like this is going to be the one!

I like the colors. The design is clean. Probably will evolve into something a little more exciting along the way.
It’s a great start. Much better prototype than another US team’s many failed attempts, and I don’t mean Columbia-HTC, even though they received much criticism too.

I would take the design fundamentals of the old USPS “Blue Train” uniforms. You want to beat the other teams just by walking into the room – sleek, clean lines, powerful, with solid strong colors… The light grey and light red does not look “dominating”. Just my 2 cents…

They should use power colors. Something that stands out from the pack. When Le Train Bleu was riding, there was a feeling of dominance. The more colors, the more confusing the jersey. Keep it clean and simple.

I would have expected a little better from Nike Design – if they are the ones who committed the new RS jersey. If they are not after selling a lot of kit the way US-Postal and DISCOVERY jerseys did – I guess it’s alright. I for sure won’t buy this kind of a feminine looking jersey.

… and I suppose that most of you would suggest that they arrive to the tour in a clown car given the design and color hints you are suggesting. Kits like Rock Racing’s are not cool or edgy, they’re ridiculous and belong somewhere back in the late 90s. The jersey looks fine, clean and fit for a professional team not a Saturday morning group ride.

the top is safe and corporate … but then again you can’t tell without seeing the entire kit. I didn’t expect Michael Ball-esque Rock Racing style … if they inject of boldness on the bottom and maybe a predominately yellow helmet (possibly socks) I think it could be a standout kit.

I really think black instead of grey would suit. I photoshoped the above image and tweaked with the settings and the black/red jersey looks good to me. For the ‘R’ on the sleeve, I also changed it from White to Red. Wear this modified jersey with the black/red Giro Ionos helmet, Red Oakleys and ride the new Madones.

All that being said, I’d like to say that the color red isn’t really good for a whole day of riding. I remember Johan once saying – in one of the “Race to Replace” videos – that the color red saps your energy.
En revanche, Team Cofidis did race in an all red kit – and guess what, they didn’t win a single UCI 1.1.

I was hoping for a more vibrant color than gray(maybe black, white or yellow?)…to make it easier for me to see the team in the peloton. The shade of red is fantastic.

Maybe the “R” can be a bit more graphic and abstract by placing it off center on the front? I absolutely love the “R”s grouped together on the new trek bikes!

I don’t have a problem with the design or colors of the kit as much as the color hues (although black would probably be better than the gray). The colors are way too muted and will make it hard to spot in a pack. The majority of exposure that the kit will receive will be via television, magazines and the internet. While the colors may be seem bright enough in person, they don’t “pop” in print. Take a look at the colors used on NASCAR cars. On television they look red, yellow, etc., but in real life, they are neon and are extremely bright.

I think the colors should be red, white & Trek blue !!! You can’t leave out the blue, too much history there, you think of the Tour de France, Lance & Trek, and you think of blue (the blue trains baby !). Replace the gray with blue, maybe switch the side panels to red & have the front & back white, add TREK on there and a few more graphics like the bike has on the top tube…. you would have a great looking jersey that will fly off the racks & the colors would pay homage to the sponsers and the country.

I think the style (cut) is okay. Safety should be the first consideration. I think grey isn’t a good cautionary colour. Grey is sort of a foggy colour. How about a little less grey, and possibly the use of neon colours??? And perhaps incorporate a flash to signify speed. A flash wouldn’t deteriorate from Radio Shack but rather enhance. Norma

Studies have proven that teams that were red win more often than any other color. I have been involved with ordering/approving uniforms and we were not allowed to use ANY black for years and it was difficult to come up with a design that SHOUTED/ANNOUNCED “Our Team Is Here To Win”.

Red is ALWAYS a great color – but switch the bright color to the top, grey to bottom. You definitely want to highlight the sholders and trim the middle. Black trim/highlights always brings the other colors out more. Is it my monitor or is that a strange shade of red? Adding a bit of contrasting color (blue, green, etc.) would make the red pop more, too.

I will support the team and wish them the best, but I won’t be buying this kit. Doesn’t come close to the class of the older Postal kits and doesn’t match some of the nice design work of current teams in the peloton. Hope there is time for a re-design, seems like my opinion is shared by others.

oh my…I know that blue wasn’t an option and most of us are used to seeing some form of the blue train, but, this looks more like one of those ink blot tests…ok, so I knew that it would need to be radio shack colors…….and I know black will absorb more heat and be more uncomfortable, but how about grey or black shorts, lose the white down the sides, everyone knows that makes you look heavier lol sorry Lance, lose those grey spots, please….. I will support everything you guys do, but I don’t think the kit will have the merchandising effect on the general public…….sorry. Team Shack rocks, and GUYS….NO INJURIES IN THE OFF SEASON….PLEASE

I actually like it. The red is striking and it will be easy to spot the riders. The red sure is better than that god-awful astana aqua color was. And I’m sure the grey on the shoulders is not as hot to wear in the sun as jet black would be.

Yuk. Wish we could see a back view, but chances are it won’t be much, if any, better than the front. Too bad, kind of reminds me of the gray-ish Discovery kit worn on the Champs a few years ago, IIRC. I like the Livestrong yellow band, and obviously red for RadioShack, but gray? How about some blue, or something that will make it more visible and make it POP!
Guess my family just saved about $100, won’t have to buy me a jersey for Christmas.

I don’t like it at all. The grey section is placed to high on the chest, and were people say it will be very easy to recognise, I think you will spot the guys of Cervelo and Euskaltel with much more ease.

It’s an awful ugly thing, and it’s looks like those stupid nike jackets.

I’d like something more aggressive, and with more off the livestrong theme in it. I hoped for some agressive looking black shirt with yellow accents…
