I’ve just learned that Lance Armstrong will ride with us tomorrow morning on LIVESTRONG Day 2009. HOWEVER… he plans to depart Mellow Johnny’s at 08:15. Destination… route… and length of ride are unknown at this time. I will go to Mellow Johnny’s at 06:00 in an effort to let everyone know what has transpired. Depending on the consensus of the group, we may go for a short ride to warm-up, or we may pull the plug on the 06:00 ride entirely. My plans are to be at Mellow Johnny’s for the opportunity to meet and ride with Lance. So… join Team ATC this Friday for an early morning bike ride in support of LIVESTRONG DAY 2009. We will depart Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop at 08:15 with Lance Armstrong and ride where every our leader will take us in this great city. Mellow Johnny’s has graciously offered to provide free coffee to all cyclists after the ride, and bicycle commuters may shower and store their bike at Mellow Johnny’s for the entire day for one dollar. Wear a helmet… wear yellow… wear your wristband… wear anything that says LIVESTRONG.
