Hello all, today on the road to Paris Lance is wearing a second wristband, I asked Phil Meartens if he would ask Lance to wear it for my cancer, and there it is for all to see, I feel humbled and grateful, and also quite emotiona,l for it was a special request, with no guarantees. Hello friends and TRS followers, I have had a testing and busy end to 2009, November and  December saw me going through my chemotherapy and radiotherapy, which finished on New years eve. I have suffered and am still suffering from the treatment and there is so much that it does to you, Mostly though I have reduced immune system, a very sore throat, and I eat and drink through a tube. I was in the hospital before and after Christmas and after New year, all because of tissue damage. Now I am trying to drink, I do get a few sips, but mostly i make more fluid than I try to drink and I cannot cope with it, so thats me.  Anyway The season has started and and Tour down under is over and we have the rest of 2010 to come, I hope its as exciting to you as it is to me, but before we get there when you are trying to see the team and riders at the coming events, I would ask you to just look around and see if the old 8Wristbandman (7 bands left wrist, 1 on the right)  is about and give him some space. Living as strong as I can.
