Am an AML/Bone Marrow Transplant survivor presently copiong with chronic GVHD. Was an avid cyclist prior to diagnosis in Oct, 2007. Hope to get back to cycling by the spring. Own a Madone 6.9 Project One Warm Fire bike. Married, 2 children. Update: suffered a heart attack Feb 15th due to arterialsclerosis that was aggravated by immune suppression due to BMT. Good news is since the artery is clear now, I was able to hit the Madone on the road yesterday (05/22/10) for the first time in a year. Rode a scant 12 miles but felt fantastic - what a bike!!
